The workouts I do are originally acquired from crossfit, then modified for my goals, etc. Often times, I do other stuff throughout the day as well. Now that we’ve gotten that down, here’s what I did this morning:
20 inch Box jump, 50 reps
20 Towel Pull-ups, 5 sets
40 pound dumbbell swing, 50 reps
50 sit-ups
40 pound dumbbell Hang power clean, 25 reps
80 pound barbell military press, 2 sets of 5 reps
.5 mile sprint on the bike trainer
50 Good Mornings
I had hurt my back yesterday while stacking wood for the winter, but figured I’d work out anyhow, as tomorrow’s an ‘off day’. I also managed to rip my pull-up bar off the wall (which is nothign more than an old cast-iron pipe, about 7 feet long and 30 lbs) while hanging from it on the towel. It had a nice momentum from my body weight and smashed right into the bridge of my nose, grazing my brow and shoulder afterward. Much fun was had, and I finished the workout with a massive headache. Good way to start the logging, I figure.
I’m working on a little write-up about soaking grains, because I know a lot of folks into fitness & endurance love oatmeal, and you can’t just pour that instant crap out of the packet and nuke it. Not good!!!! So check back, and you’ll be able to look foward to the most nutritious, good tasting porridge you’ve ever had. This is your Grandfather’s oatmeal… well, not literally of course!
